Hello Padraig:
Thank you for your response. Sorry for the late response.
The specific issues are:
- When I first installed neuroConstruct a few months ago, it worked fine,
especially the Visualization tab.
- I tried to use neuroConstruct the other day after not using it for a few
months and I could not visualize any neuron structure I set up. When I
looked at the error messages, it appeared there was something wrong with
its communication with Java. The first error message said something about
there being no GUI.
- I installed a newer version of neuroConstruct (1.5.3; I was previously
using 1.5.2) and had the same issues.
-I updated my Java compiler from 1.6 to 1.7 and now neuroConstruct will not
even load.
If you can help me with this issue, I would appreciate it. Also, I am
using Ubuntu as my OS.
Thanks!
Natasha
